Unfortunately, junior developers were assigned to do the rank system for OW2 to “catch them up to speed”.

I’m sure a lot of you remember how this game used to give out GM to any and everybody early on. Unfortunately, I was affected. Ended up in GM. Now they’ve fixed the matchmaking and I’ll guess 99% of players quit because of how awful this game was.

Playing ranked is a miserable experience. It’s been what… 5 seasons? I’m still practically GM. Masters 2.

Keep in mind. I am legitimately a plat player who fought for gold and diamond pretty regularly with a peak of early masters in OW1. However, I was consistently plat until inflation hit.

How am I supposed to have fun? Am I supposed to lose… quadruple checks math like 50 games?

They should’ve reset our ranks after they fixed it. But nope. The developers have no brain and got their because of the progress made in ChatGPT. Top 15 worst games of all time. Disappointing. From GOTY to Overwhelmingly Negative. Gg 😔
