I have been having great deal of trouble finding normal self hosted app for employee time sheet creation. That simple.
I think i went trough few years of post on this sub regarding my question but found nothing that suits my needs or possibly I am missing info on some already provided or mentioned posts.

Basically,
i am looking for a app (the simpler the better) where up to 50 users can have their accounts, can sign in those accounts only via LAN, can create timesheets and select whether hours are billable or non-billable. It guess this can be done also by utilizing “tasks” or “projects” of a sorts if.
For example:
John work 4 hours today for Client A on Project A1, he also worked 2 hours for Client A on Project A2 and finally he worked 2 hours For Client B and Project B1.
Simple as that, he should be able to type in the hours, choose on which project it was spent on and management users can create simple reports from worker employees.

So far i’ve tried installing Kimai about 10 times on few different systems and distributions, but its huge mess - not even been able to get it working properly. To many dependencies that start to break down.
After that i tried Clockify - this is basically modern slavery, not looking for check/check out functions.
Then i’ve tried TimeTrex, which fails to mention that the only things I need are per purchase, and for community you get modern slavery.

After that i tried Mifort, Pendulum, TimeSheets, Smart Sheets, Traggo… i dont even know anymore what i’ve tried and tested and failed and cursed at my notebooks a lot out loud.

I must be missing something!
Any assistance is very appreciated.
