Hey!

I got in my car Saturday morning In which I pushed the clutch down to start the car, the clutch went straight in with no resistance and is now fully engaged. I’ve pulled it back but it has no resistance and either stays disengaged or fully engaged.

I checked under the car, and there has been something that has leaked

The car is a 2013 vw golf gtd, it’s under warranty with VW but I doubt this would be considered covered under warranty. VW said if its not covered, I’ll be charged £120 just for an inspection.

Any ideas about this? is it a cheap fix? The last week, the clutch when pulling away was a bit jolty; assuming it’s related

in your opinion, would this be covered under warranty? doesn’t sound like it! I’ve only done 5k miles since my last service

Unlikely. Unless they put in a new clutch or something when you had your last service. This just goes under the category of cars are expensive sometimes.
