By “decent” skins, I’m referring to skins that do something unique and interesting with the champion. Something like Reaper Soraka transforming League’s premier healer into an incarnation of death, or how Pool Party Sett is a very charming skin, even though Obsidian Dragon is arguably more interesting. Things like that. To me, I feel like Zed is trapped in this situation where no matter what skin you give him, he has to be some flavor of ninja. PROJECT: Zed is a robot ninja, Galaxy Slayer Zed is a space ninja, Shockblade Zed is somehow even MORE ninja than base Zed, etcetera. This makes it feel like no matter what costume you put on him, you’re not really fully exploring that alternative take on the base character’s power fantasy, to use some terminology that Riot might use.

    Kaisa only recently got anything worth buying. Of 7 skins.

    • One stupid pop group.
    • And second!
    • Bullet angel which is just bland.
    • Arcade, a goofy looking hella forced thing around her wings?
    • Star Guardian, because who doesn’t have one?
    • Lagoon Dragon, which has all the colours blurred and way too hard to read vs the map.

    Thankfully Inkshadow came out, but still, her wings make it rough.

    Nice try, Riot skin department. While you’re at it can you decrease RP prices and make Battle Passes grant more tokens / useful rewards like they used to instead of dumb icons/emotes no one will ever use.

    People will but a lot more of them, your net profits will be higher and the community will be pleased!

    Riven. She only has dawnbringer
    Weirdly enough, no matter how many skins they make for Riven, they never do a skin that feels as good as Dawnbringer. Any person who ever dared to play Riven and had a chance to play with Dawnbringer, cannot stand playing with any of her other skins.

    It’s not a joke when we say this skin does more damage, cuz IT DOES, the way it handles the animations is so much better, god damn it.

    You even get frustrated and feel scammed whenever you buy a new Riven skin and notice it’s not as good as Dawnbringer, even tho it looks much cooler, and you always go back to play with Dawnbringer.
