What I mean is, it feels like the roles of the offense & defense are backwards from the norms in the league. Like the defense is expected to actually win the games for us, and the offense is there to keep it close enough for the defense to secure the win. Maybe I’m wrong, but it’s just how I feel about the way the team is constructed.
This is a 180 from how it’s usually set up, and it just feels backasswards to me. Especially in a league who has gone to great lengths to increase scoring & make it really tough on defenses to defend.
Does anyone else feel like this?
