I was boarding a plane home to Austin, TX after the Saints game and the woman in front of me had some very unusual, and high quality Viking pins on her coat. We got to talking, she had flown her dad up for the game to sit in the Legends Suite.
He showed up and got in line. It was Paul Flatley, WR from 63-67, former Rookie of the Year.
Apparently he is battling dementia but his daughter told me he lit up when he saw Carl Eller walk into the suite and started reminiscing. Super nice guy and chatted people up the whole flight home about his playing career. It was sweet.
