Ever since Kupp returned to from IR to the Rams in week 5, he and Puka have done every combination of performances through 4 games. Here’s what I mean by this:

Week 5 vs PHI: Both had GOOD games. Kupp 8 for 118, 15.8 HPPR fantasy points, Puka 7 for 71 and 1 TD, 16.6 HPPR fantasy points

Week 6 vs ARI: Kupp had a GOOD game (7 for 148 and 1 TD, 24.3 HPPR fantasy points) while Puka had a BAD game (4 for 26, 4.6 HPPR fantasy points)

Week 7 vs PIT: Kupp had a BAD game (2 for 29 and 2 PT conversion, 5.9 HPPR fantasy points) while Puka had a GOOD game (8 for 154, 19.4 HPPR fantasy points)

Week 8 vs DAL: Both had BAD games. Kupp 4 for 21, 4.1 HPPR points, Puka 3 for 43, 5.8 HPPR fantasy points.

This is just something interesting that I noticed as an owner of both players. Do you guys think there is anything to takeaway from this? My personal takeaway is that you’re still going to start both guys if you have them individually, as they’re still both seeing plenty of the target share, however it seems like they both aren’t going to be smash plays every single week. If you have both, it may be wise to consider benching one of them in matchups against tough defenses (like this past week vs DAL).

What do you guys takeaway from this?
