I know we talk about the lack of talent on team, specifically on the offensive roster however the lack of leaders is much more damning.

We had dj Moore and cmc and we still couldn’t win the worst division in football.

The panthers are becoming the old lions and browns where they’re just a lifeless joke of a team that no other fans care or know anything about.

We have no history outside a few good years of cam, no tradition of being great and no culture.

While we need receivers that can get open, we needs leaders to transform our nonexistent culture. A Ray Lewis type leader would change our team much more than a WR that can get open.

I’m not saying to not draft talented players, but draft grades should be curved significantly for talented players that were also leaders on their team.

No rookie is going to come in and be Ray Lewis. You get to be a Ray Lewis like leader only after you become a Ray Lewis level player. (And I’m not sure you could develop that kind of leader on a losing team).

I think people get too caught up on “culture” or the “locker room” when their team is losing. When you are losing, your morale/culture/locker room sucks. You fix it by winning first and foremost.
