I love the way BMWs look but I’m a non-BMW peasant and I was thinking of renting one for a day to see what it’s like

I want to experience the power, luxury and handling of a Beamer

But which BMW would you want to rent? Probably a 3 series. A 5 series would be too expensive so I feel it would be best to stick with a 3 series

Would renting a bmw for a day be worth it? Or should I scrap the idea altogether?

Rent an f80 or e90 m3 if it’s just for a day, might as well drive an m for the day.

Come in at the 5 series or you’re still looking at living in peasantry due, as high as the 4 series, fancy BMW shows up with poverty buttons.

Renting is a solid idea. Might get spendy though sorting between models though. Test drives are free. Bonus, they give you fresh baked cookies!

Like others have said, down talk yourself down like that. …and it’s just a car.

That said, make sure you test a RWD coupe or sedan to experience what BMW is really about. The AWD ones are nice too, but the experience is a bit diluted, especially if it’s a SUV.

All BMWs are not powerful or luxurious, but they do usually handle and stop well. Go to a dealer and see which size is appealing, then test drive coupes, sedans, and convertibles. If you need more experience, go to used car dealers and keep test driving. CarMax sounds perfect for you to experience the full range.
