Scottie plays better when he has something to prove. He played amazing in year 1 when people were saying the Raptors should have picked Suggs. He also played better this year after people said he couldn’t be a franchise player, and he only cared about the bowlway dollars.

Anyone who watches games knows that his effort can be inconsistent (even within the same game or in a given quarter). I suspect a lot of Scotties stans here dont watch games - and just see the numbers.
