Could yall really see Dobbs or Hall walking into San Fran or Philly in a playoff environment and winning a game? Against these two elite defenses?

Would losing out really be the worst case scenario or best case because then we could be in the top 12 to draft the QOTF? Once Kirk went down, our chances of being contenders was done let’s just be honest.

Yes, Cousins going down was bad. That’s why we were all excited when Dobbs pulled off 2 wins because we didn’t expect it. But if you told me we were 5-2 without JJ and 2-2 without Cousins at the beginning of the season, I would tell you there’s no way.

Any given Sunday, am I right?

No, that San Fran team plays with more passion than just about every team in the league.

Injuries. Weather. Freak Luck. Surprisingly effective game plan. Overconfident home team. Bad juju. Anything can happen.

There’s a reason you rarely see a team’s odds of winning exceed 70%.

Probably not, but tbh Philly has had a very similar season to the Vikings season last year. Lots of lucky/fluky wins. 49ers do look like we would completely get our asses kicked but there’s a long way between us playing them in a potential playoff game. Purdy could get hurt again and then they are again pretty pedestrian.

There’s a lot of variables with the playoffs and potentially you don’t even have to play the 49ers.

The draft is still like 4 months away. It’s not even worth worrying about right now.

The goal is to win and get to the playoffs. I cheer for my team to win every week.

At some point we will need to draft a QB. Kirk can’t play forever. The projected first round QB’s could be gone by pick 20. Realistically we could get into the picks 10-15 range. That would be good enough to get at least one of the consensus first round QB’s

Dobbs losing in the first round of the playoffs is not much better than what we could realistically expect with Kirk either to be fair

yes i kmow we beat san fran but they didn’t have trent williams or deebo. that is like not having darrisaw and jefferson.

FWIW I can’t see Kirk beating those teams either.
