So the league hypothetically decides to reset all rosters and does a redraft and team X goes first. The finals are within grasp of every team. Who is the player that would go first and why?

If we’re doing an all time draft where every player is at their peak, Lebron would go number 1.

If we’re doing a draft based on current players in current form, Jokic would go number 1.

Jokic would definitely go first, he’s the best player in the league and is potentially gonna remain so for the next few years. Embiid and Giannis would probably go soon enough after as players who are currently in their prime but not towards the end of it like Curry, Durant, LeBron, etc.

If teams are looking at their future as well as winning right now, Luka, SGA, Halliburton and Ant will go highly as well. Luka could probably go 2nd or 3rd.

They ask the GMs (or whoever the gm makes fill out the survey) this every year

    1. Nikola Jokic, Denver – 33%
    2. Victor Wembanyama, San Antonio – 23%
    3. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee – 13%
    4. Luka Doncic, Dallas – 10%
    5. Anthony Edwards, Minnesota – 7%

» Also receiving votes: Stephen Curry, Golden State; Joel Embiid, Philadelphia; Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Oklahoma City; Jayson Tatum, Boston » Last year: Giannis Antetokounmpo – 55%

I agree with them, fatboy can drop 50 and run an offense.
