I’m convinced everyone on this thread who has an opinion about the roster doesn’t have the capability to understand what it will take for this team to win a championship. Desmond Ridder is not the issue, the defense is not the issue and our offensive weapons are not the issue. The o line needs to improve for the run game to improve. The play calling needs to improve in order for our weapons to be utilized properly. Fix that we win our championship in less than 5 years.

Pretty sure he threw for under 50% and had his INT bailed out
Bro did u watch the game
I know Ridder ain’t it from one simple thing. The way the kid stands in the backfield waiting for the ball. Thats some real G5 college football type of stance lol.
Like a system QB for a small school would by running the play the coach calls, without reading the defense or making adjustments.
It’s not promising.
I think we all can agree it’s a little easier to play quarterback when you are facing a team that has scored only 11 offensive touchdowns all season and is currently one of the worst offenses we’ve seen in a very long time. Artie dumbed the playbook WAAAAAAAAAY down today both because of weather and he knew he only needed to score around 14 to win. So let’s not start sucking each other off because the Falcons beat the Jets.
12/27 for 121yards. We scored 1 TD.
He’s not the “problem” but he’s not the answer.
The December Des streak starts now.
He played horrible
If you meant to have a point you failed.
Ridder is playing QB next year. Unfortunately it’s the best option if we continue to build these wins. He wants to be a leader and at this point he controls his own destiny.
I hate the Arthur Smith slander. Desmond can’t hit a deep ball for his life. This subreddit is brutally bashing our head coach when he’s handicapped by a terrible QB. There is only so much you can do when you have to rely on running the ball and short passes.
I know I’ll get downvoted for this, but I’ll say it:
I like Desmond Ridder.
I hope he becomes our guy. Right now, I don’t believe he is, but I hope he becomes it. I want to see him get better. There are QB’s that are franchise guys who had worse starts. He got his chance early, probably too early, and while he hasn’t blown us all away, I do not believe he is irredeemable.
And if he puts the pieces together and starts winning? Man, we’d be unstoppable. His contract costs us practically nothing, and we got him on a 3rd round pick. He’s fulfilled that cost with his performance so far. I wanna see him succeed.
And outside of football, the fact that he comes from a biracial family also fits Atlanta perfectly. I know it’s a sort of touchy subject, and it makes absolutely no difference at all to me, but it’s nice that all the dumb fucking racists at work have stfu and can stop saying “we need a white QB” or “we need a black qb.”Everybody gets what they want in this regard, and if they can’t be happy with Ridder in this regard, they’ll never be happy.
