Honestly, I’d like to see him get a game in without JMD. He was ass in that system, but maybe some improvement without his bullshit? Who knows

Yes - he’s a Raider. He stepped aside in the most amicable way possible given his situation.

He’s seemingly been doing what he can to help AOC. I’m sure Hoyer probably gave him some perspective of “you can either embrace the mentor/back up role, or take the Cam Newton approach and be a Free Agent forever.” I think Jimmy will be a great back up for the next few years.

Let’s put it this way - if we draft a QB, I’d rather have Jimmy G in the QB room with a rookie QB than AOC next year. Not a knock on AOC, just from the veteran presence and intangibles.

Yall know what, y’all changed my mind. Dude did take the bench like a man. He didn’t ask to be benched, but the shitty system he was in with McDoofus fucked him up. He didn’t put in his dues on the field, but off the field, he didn’t give up, and that’s heart. Raider Nation is about heart.

He didn’t do anything to make that untrue. Did he play bad? Yeah. But he’s a Raider.

Nah. He wanted to be a Raider. It just didn’t work out. I wish him the best
