I dunno how common it is, but there have been multiple times where I tried to play a game, went “this game isn’t for me”, and put it down for a while only to pick it up again, now knowing what to expect, and really enjoying it. Games like Final Fantasy 7, Monster Hunter World, Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, the Persona Dancing games, and more. And I think it’s because, indeed, I know what to expect going into it the second time and can and can better prepare myself for it. Does this happen to anyone else?
