I love the newer version of the Apple remote - the original smaller all black one not so much.

I find it so easy to use that I often deliberately wait to watch programs on my streamers versus my DVR because it is so much easier to fast forward and find programs without looking at the remote.

And having iOS 17 have a timer setting is life changing for me as I generally set the television for a boring program that I don’t have to use my eyes to watch and drift off to sleep within 15 minutes. I previously had to haul out the remote for the television ONLY for the timing function.

I have problems with the centre circle button being right next to the surrounding circular buttons. I often press the outside button when trying to press the centre. It’s hard to feel the difference.
