Love my Rams and I rather be us than a miserable fanbase that has won anything. We got what we wanted now its time to go all in on the rebuild. The city of LA getting a ring before franchises that been around since the turn of the century is an amazing achievement

Very rarely a top flight hall of fame player retired with the team that drafted them, so Aaron Donald I love you but if we get offered 2 top round picks from someone that can absorb his massage contract you take it. Cooper Kupp youre amazing but if the right offer is available we should take it.

We can be that team that trades their stars to SB contenders that have a chance this year similar to when we got Von Miller.

Delete this. There is no rebuild while Donald Stafford and Kupp are on this team. Kupp and Donald both have said they want to be rams for life, and Donald has a no trade clause so your point is even somehow dumber.

Why would we trade with SB contenders just to get higher draft picks because they’ll go further? None of what you’re saying makes sense.

You’re getting a lot of hate, but I…mostly agree. Not with trading Kupp, hell no. I don’t want to be the Titans and trade our best WR and see him ball somewhere else. But AD only has a couple more years in him. If he wants to go elsewhere and compete for another ring, I believe we owe it to him to make it happen. However if he wants to stay put, keep him. It’s all about his wishes. But the rebuild needs to begin, imo. After 5 years of being one of the consistently best teams in football, the last two years have been a series of small trainwrecks all combining into lost seasons. Injuries to our older guys seem to becoming a pattern for us. I don’t believe this core can win another Super Bowl, sorry. I could be wrong but the NFL moves fast and there are already a new crop of teams that have risen to the top, and we’re getting older and more fragile with time. I can take 2, maybe 3 years of being bad-mediocre with the goal being building through the draft, getting the next young franchise QB and stacking the defense with a new crop of studs. What I can’t fucking take is another year of THIS next season. Trying to hang on to some of our former glory, getting our hopes up when we see Stafford balling, buying into the media hype that we get, then the cracks start to show, then ultimately injuries turn those cracks into full blown canyons. Downvote me if you want, I fucking love my team and I’m a true fan as much as the ones that want to hang on until the wheels fall off. But I have to be real.

(Side note but I saw my hockey team, the Red Wings, face this kind of decision and decide to ride their aging core to oblivion. Yeah they made the playoffs every year, but by delaying a rebuild they ensured they wouldn’t make the playoffs for the next 7 years and possibly more. They’re finally showing signs of coming our of the slump. But goddamn I don’t want that to be my Rams. And all the while possibly seeing SF and Seattle dominant over the NFC West if not the entire NFC.)
