My account was secured via 2FA on my phone, my phone number as backup, as well as a randomized password. My E-Mail and Ubisoft Account were compromised and, after having regained access, I see that Ubisoft removed 2FA after a simple support ticket and verifying ownership of the account via an E-Mail.
If 2FA gets removed after simply showing that you have access to the associated E-Mail account, why even bother adding it? Ubisoft’s support team completely negates the point of adding 2FA by doing this.
