A win is a win, even when the game is ugly, and that should always feel good. But for me, it means Zach Wilson gets to ride off good will he doesn’t deserve for another three games of terrible QB play. Sure he came in clutch at the end, but does that mean we excuse the total incompetence in almost every other drive he took snaps in?
I want this guy benched to see how Siemian can handle things. But now because of this ugly ass W, that’s certainly not going to happen.
This QB is legit riding high off of a single quarter of good play against the Chiefs and a drive of clutch throws last night. When everything else is god awful, it’s not enough to keep him starting.
