And then I remembered they got bailed out on a missed PI against us (plus a missed RTP and personal foul on the same play), and really don’t feel bad at all. FTP, FTC, FTS and the rest of them!

If you recall … They benefitted on a really bad ref call on last drive of Super Bowl too.
3 days later noone remembers anything but the final score.
Only exceptions of this process is when it’s something so memorable the game gets a nickname, like the “Tuck Rule Game”.
That said , it’s hilarious because over at their subreddit and especially off Reddit at ChiefsPlanet forums (very active) in their heads they think it’s so egregious that they should have the game awarded to them on protest lol
They think it’s gonna go down in everyone’s memory banks like the Tuck Rule Game or the PI in the NFC Championship game a couple years back.
But in 24 hours no one will remember anything but the score.
Also to my read , the non PI call was meant to be a bit of a makeup call for the Mahomes hit on the sideline that got KC 15 on same drive. Imo as always.

As I remember it, the refs gave them the AFC championship game too. The NFL weren’t going to let the Bengals go to the Super bowl two years in a row; that’s a ratings killer.
