I’m looking to surprise my kids (and myself!) with some Raptors Season seats for Christmas. I’m on the official wait-list, but have been for years.
But my friend told me about a website I’d never heard of - the MLSE License Hub. I’ve read through their FAQ and my understanding is that it’s current season seat holders looking to permanently sell their rights away to the season seats. So it’s a way to bypass the wait-list.
Right now for example, there are 2 seats for $8,000 or 4 seats for $19,000, but it’s not super-clear what I get for that price. Are the remaining games of the season included in the price, or am I just getting the license, then have to buy the games separately? It looks like I can also just make an offer for below their asking price, which is neat.
I’d be very appreciative to hear from someone who has bought season seats this way or knows someone who has. Thanks in advance!
