I’ve used Intermapper before for work, but it’s definitely overkill for my network (and not free). I need something with a web client that I can put on a Raspberry Pi that just monitors ICMP connectivity to the ~20-30 smart devices and other hosts on my home network.

Bonuses:

  • Email alerts when a host goes unreachable
  • Monitor my upstream connection to my ISP as well and log interruptions.
