so i migrated from windows since october. i already installed steam and play games there whatsoever no problem.

I tried to add non steam old game (read: cracked) into it. it was working but not with the DLC i like. so i turned into wine. and it work flawlessly out of the box for about a week. after that it no longer works.

the problem i have is : it opens up, it start, but whenever i try to launch a match it’s crashing back to desktop. my tinkering step is just changing windows version, play without steam running, re install it few times, wine log but it seems it’s not writing anything. how i launch the game is : open terminal where the exe lives and just wine program.exe .

oh right the game is supreme commander 2, the game is from HDD that i use for windows too (i already installed it from the windows days, though i have the .iso)

my stuff : ryzen 3 3300x, RX 6800, 32GB ram, LMDE6 with upgraded 6.5.0 kernel, mesa ver 22.1.6 ( around here, i’m writing from work laptop)

thanks for reading. i hope i can play it again, please i need help…
