Using speedtest.net, with ethernet, I get a download speed of 530 Mbps and a ping of 12 ms. On WiFi, I get a download speed of 495 Mbps but with 66 ms of latency. Pinging my router directly over WiFi results in a latency of <1 ms and pinging another wireless device on the same network results in a latency of 2 ms.

So, it seems that the additional latency of using WiFi instead of ethernet should be negligible instead of a difference of >60 ms. What could be causing this?
