I’m not sure if someone has made similarities to this yet but in sunflowers (season 3 episode 6) ted drinks the tea and his whole journey happens. Then he finds out that the drugs were duds and he wasn’t really high and it reminded me of the comedy Eurotrip (which I highly recommend if you haven’t ever seen it) when Scott and Jenny ( 2 main characters) go to a bakery in Amsterdam (which is also where the team is) and the waiter says the brownies are “magical” so they eat them thinking it was weed and when in actuality there are nothing in them. I’m guessing the writers of ted lasso maybe thought of this movie but I’m not sure. Also Let me know if there was anything else in other media that reminded you of that scene because it was honestly so funny!
