Ability 1: “Roulette”

Martyr takes all the ammo out of his primary weapon, and replaces it with one bullet. He spins the chamber and puts the revolver to his head, and pulls the trigger. There is a 1 in 6 chance of the gun firing.

If the gun fires, Martyr dies.

If the gun doesn’t fire, Martyr’s “death seeker” ability gets an additional 30 hp to the shield, and 1 extra second to it’s duration, and Martyr’s gun gains a 5% damage increase.

The ability can only be used 5 times.

Cooldown: 10 seconds

Ability 2: “death seeker”

Two charges for this ability. Martyr can look at an enemy, and if the enemy has a possibility of having Martyr in his/her line of sight, Martyr will taunt the enemy which will cause the enemy’s reticle to be forced onto Martyr for 5 seconds. Martyr projects a frontal shield that has 300 shield as long as he has someone taunted. Martyr can taunt up to 2 enemies at a time.

Cooldown for each charge: 6 seconds.

Martyr taunts every enemy in a 30 meter radius around him. When the enemy shoots Martyr, the damage that is applied to Martyr is also applied to the enemy

Duration: 20 seconds

Potential ultimate lines: “I welcome death!” “Death is a release!” “Alleviate my pain!”

Notes:

This is the second version of my character, so there are some improvements to his kit. Martyr is suppose to be an off-tank, like zarya, junker queen, doomfist, etc.

Martyr’s strengths are being able to deal with medium-long range attackers like widow, ashe, hanzo, zenyatta, etc, and being able to run down on them with his revolver. He’s also supposed to work well in a brawl/dive comp by being able to assist flanker types of characters.

His weaknesses are supposed to be in explosive characters or stealthy characters, like pharah, junkrat, tracer, sombra, reaper, etc.

Martyr’s ultimate is supposed to function as a very strong distraction to the enemy team, and should help ally flanker characters get more kills.
