he Wolf is Dead is a murder mystery investigation game! Someone has killed Alexander Wolff at his own party and you have to work out who.
It’s entirely deductive puzzle solving, you see a cigarette? It’s probably because someone was smoking, there’s no progress gating on anything other than what you know.
It’s being developed by me and my brother and we’ve taken a lot of inspiration from those types of knowledge games like the Obra Dinn, Outer Wilds (or more recently, Curse of the Golden Idol etc.) where the games progresses essentially based on you being able to show what you know.
Main features:
- A full evening of misery and chaos to unpick.
- Find a murderer!
- Rewind time!
- Piece together a timeline of events!
