From what i understand we want to trade our vets for picks + salary filler. Will that filler be slightly worse vets or other young players we’ll try out in the tank?

I’m hoping for Santi Aldama, or someone on that level. I don’t think we can get anyone really good. Maybe like… Gordon Hayward? I’m thinking either young players who might turn into decent role players down the line or over-the-hill veterans who used to be good but are now too expensive for their production or are too injury-prone to be useful.
Maybe Khris Middleton if he ends up not being able to play for the Bucks? It’s kind of worrying that he’s still not able to play much after his surgery. They paid him $93 million to be in street clothes. You ride out his contract while tanking and collect some assets in exchange for giving the Bucks a good player who can at least play 60-ish games a season + playoffs.
