Yesterday was a obvious trap game and the Broncos SB. Sick Pat, uncharacteristically bad defense for the year, looking forward to Germany, people talking about Otto Graham, Swifty memes… The universe aligned against us.
Do you realize how ABSURD having a 8 year win streak against any NFL team is? These people are in the top .01% of professional athletes in THE WORLD. A bad NFL team is still a group of people that would demolish any grouping of people at any physical game, anywhere, anytime.
Denver broke the streak. It’s fine. They are 1-16 on 8 years and 1-12 vs Mahomes. Let them hang a banner next week and continue to wallow in the Sea of Sadness that is the Denver Broncos.
Next year, we restart the clock, and get another 8 years against them.
Listen, the chiefs will be FINE. We get into a slop fest a few times a year and end up losing games we shouldn’t. Example: the colts beat us last year. Every one thought the sky was falling after that L. The dang Texans game ended up in a OT game with is barely squeaking by. In division games are always dog fights because the team are so familiar with each other. Not to mention playing the donkeys twice in three weeks. I know Andy and company have this game against the dolphins circled. And the first game against back against the cheetah?? You know we have something planned for this game. Everything will be fine when we go to Germany and beat the dolphins with our BALANCED ball club. Offense will show up in big games. And our defense has been solid all year. I can’t wait for everyone’s panties to get out of a bunch and see that the Kansas City Chiefs, like always, show they are the best team in football.
