The healthy and well rested Raptors just lost to the worst team in the league (Blazers) on a b2b, without Simons — why won’t Masai/MLSE decide to blow it up and give the keys to Barnes?
Barnes is fine, he’s developed a reliable scoring prowess while being able to defend 1-5, but everyone else is playing subpar. Why do they keep trying?
excuse me. Precious and Koloko are injured. so this doesn’t count right?
halfcourt offense other than barnes is fucking ass. toronto hope y’all save him from this mess.
Because that would make too much sense
what losing to the blazers does to a mf
Top 6 protected? We’re def gonna be getting a top 6 pick lol
How did Siakam ever make All-NBA?
why would anyone trust masai at this point to lead the rebuild? it’s pretty clear his vision for the team (prioritizing length at the expense of spacing/shooting) isn’t working.
he’s had an inordinate amount of chances over the last 2 years to make moves to balance his team. but he lost FVV for nothing and might lose Siakam and/or OG for the same. even if he moves them this year, they’re worth much less than they were when he first could’ve gone to the market.
It’s one of the clunkiest rosters. Siakam has not been great to start either.
They might do it, it’s just been 4 games lmao
My personal head-cannon is that our ownership is desperate for any chance at postseason ticket revenues and won’t let Masai pull the plug and re-build properly.
Not much evidence to support this thought process, beyond the fact that Ed Rogers is a cunt.
It’s even funnier because Toronto has the incentive to tank this season. If they finish outside the top 6 in the lottery we get their pick.
They’ll never just tank, because you know, ratings on their own networks
It’s early, what team has blown it up 3 games in?
They probably will blow it up dude, just give it some time
It’s early season And spurs need that pick so no
