I have to wonder if they’re actual therapists of any reasonable quality or life coaches or…

The way they pushed everything back onto the women was just infuriating to me.

Yara: I respect my husband and don’t want to speak badly of him. Jovi: I called a stripper who I used to bang and still have her number in my phone, asking if she was in town and wanting her to come out, aside from being deceitful about going to a strip club and trying to get all the other men on the marriage retreat to come with me. Therapist: Yara, where are you on forgiveness. Everyone watching knows she will forgive him for lying (as she always does) and he will do it again. How about we hold him accountable for a change instead of enabling him and making it seem like this is on Yara?

History: Ed yelled at Liz when she didn’t stand up for him in a prior episode, prompting drunk Angela to scream in her face so loud there were complaints to the facility management. Ed didn’t try to stop Angela even when she was threatening to beat Liz’a ass, and Ed used Angela’s words to verbally bitch slap and gaslight Liz. Cut to same day: Ed/Liz: discuss how there was an altercation between Ed & Jovi that day and Liz stood up for him (after which Ed berated Liz for standing up for him because it “made him look weak”.) Therapist: puts it on Liz and once again, forgiveness is the answer.

I feel like these folks got their credentials from a Cracker Jack Box. I knew they weren’t worth their salt when I saw the one therapist doing “past life therapy” with Ed as she looks on with all seriousness as he talks all about being a leprechaun in a former life and bought into it hook, line & sinker. Zero perceptiveness in these folks.

SMH.

I feel like all the shit hit the fan right before the last day so the therapists needed to pull the ‘just forgive him’ card before the recommitment ceremony
