Personally I think we need a 4/5. It feels like 3&D SF’s were the hardest position to find. Now I think this 4 version of 3&D is almost impossible to find. Most teams are small and have leaned into small ball with varying results.

Here’s my list of options! Who did I Forget?

JJJ: the ideal that will never happen. Shoots 3’s, amazing rim protector, switchable ish. Zu can be the new Adams.

Finney-Smith: Great contract. Too small. If he was 2 inches larger I think he’d be the perfect fit. Could see him being available.

PJ Washington: He’s still undersized and streaky but can shoot and rebound. Can get defensive stats but I would not call him a stopper. Don’t know why CHA would want to trade. They’re low on good bigs.

Larry Nance: Injuries, doesn’t shoot enough. I’ve seen him shoot 3’s well (Cleveland). Love him for us defensively. They often pair him with Zion. If Zion goes down I could see him become available.

Myles Turner: Don’t know why INDY would do this. They do not have a lot of bigs anymore. The hope is he could play the 4 with Zu at the 5, but worry about our perimeter Defense.

Kyle Anderson: Good defense, Wish he was a more willing shooter but great all around player. Feels like Batum+ to me. Don’t know why he would be available.

Bojan Bogdanović: better team defender than you might think, but not enough defense for us. We all know how well he shoots. Feels like he lights us up every game.

Kelly O: a nice big who can really shoot. His defense leaves much to be desired but the effort is there and he’s another big body to throw at Denver.

Jerami Grant: Good size, streaky shooting but can shoot. Good defense. Wish he got more rebounds. To me, he makes sense to go all in on if you also get…

Malcolm Brogdon: Injury concerns of course, but could really see him contributing. Solid D, good game manager, great 3 point shooter. I would want to include Norm in this trade somehow otherwise it would get too crowded in the guard dept. Brogdon isn’t as much as a microwave as Norm but plays way better defense.

Harden: Had to list him here. He’s obviously a better shooter than Russ. A better playmaker than Russ, but they do have a lot of overlapping skills. Russ brings the heart that I think we need. Hesitation with this trade is going all in now and having to pay PG, Kawhi, and Harden all at once.
