Hi all,

I had a motherboard go bad on an x299 platform and moved hardware to another x299 box I have. One of the items moved is a sas 9211-8i card in hba mode with 8 Seagate sas drives attached in a raid 5 array.

The old setup was using server 2019, while the new one is windows 11 pro, (due to other data that needs pulled from the new setup before installing either server 2023 or something like ubraid, idk which yet).

At this point the 8 disks of the array are connected and showing up in disk manager, and the option to import foreign disk was available. This brought the disks from offline to online, but now they all say Failed. Enabling the disk does nothing.

I tried a software that is supposed to recover arrays and it did show the disk and its volume, but I’m unsure how to go about recovering the array and data to a usable condition.

Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
