Ive seen Carr dissect my Broncos for half a decade with guys like Von, Simmons and he was so consistent. McDaniels probably should have been hired as an OC because hes a world class tactician but why not keep the interim coach who helped yall make the playoffs, JMD ego is too much, tactics and x and os arent everything, if yall had carr yall would be in the playoffs race. We saw same with Cutler. Even though im Broncos fan, raiders are my unofficial second team since I used to live in Oakland and regularly went to the Colisseum. I always maintain Broncos and Raiders should be top 2 in the AFC west.

Carr was never the issue, he also wasn’t the answer.

Carr was a problem. Not the only problem. We need to fire JMD and move forward from there.

Carr was part of the problem. Getting rid of him wasn’t the issue, getting Jimmy G and Hoyer to replace him was the issue.

I think people over simplify the sport of football and expect every QB to top 5 caliber. People expect Maholmes type talent every time but don’t understand why it’s like that. Yes, Maholmes is great but he also has Kelce, a group of players that compliment him, and a coaching staff that executes plays around his talent. Carr was good, not great. But we have no idea of knowing if he could have been great because he never had any of the things Maholmes had for most of his career until recently.

    Dude, stop.

Carr is a less expensive Russ (for Denver). He’ll put up pedestrian numbers and lose. You give him the ball and say win the game and he’ll fail 9 times out of 10.

Sure, some days he will look like an MVP. That only makes days he can’t cross the 50 more maddening.

I’m tired of waiting for him not to suck.

I never thought Carr was the issue but I’m not going to sit here and claim he’s elite. I never wanted to see him be released unless we had a better replacement which we clearly don’t. It’s literally like Mark Davis saw all the derp moves Broncos management made getting Russell Wilson, getting rid of all their good defensive players among other things and said “So the Broncos think they can outderp us for last place? Hold my beer! We’ll show them who the true derps of this division are!”
