Seems like Lakers only taking ugly wins this season.
Wood has been good so far. It’s so frustrating seeing our guards just look up and wait for the ball to fall their way. At least Wood has been crashing the boards so AD isn’t always alone fighting for the rebound. Him being a threat on the 3 also makes sure his man stays close to him and avoids closing in on a driving Laker. Hope he sustains this level of energy for the rest of the season.
On the other hand, I dunno what’s happening to AR. Maybe it’s fatigue or maybe his confidence is shot with all those bricks. He needs to find his groove back if we want easy wins.
Anyone else see Suggs crying after the game so badly? What was that about
This Magic team should be 3-0.
Fight me.
Lakers try to win a game in comfortable fashion challenge (impossible)
Lebron has been dreadful from quarters 1-3 so far this szn but he’s been killing it in 4th quarters lol
AD playing like a First-Team All-NBA player
Lakers’ defensive gameplan of leaving everybody open and hoping they miss paid off
Franz and Paolo were a combined 9-31 tonight.
I could care less what the Lakers or refs did or didn’t do. You can’t win games being that awful.
Not sure what bug has bitten Paolo, but he doesn’t look as engaged or involved. Maybe having a back to back will straighten him out instead of give him too much time off.
Im a bit shocked about how lock down the magic defense is. and as i said before I LOVE how passionate suggs was on defense all game. He looks like a top 10 perimeter defender in the league the way he played. We were sluggish for the first 2.5 quarters but the magic absolutely put the screws on us defensively and if paulo shot somewhat normally it would have been a win for the magic.
No animosity against the Magic. Im hoping they pitch a defensive shutout tomorrow and make kawhi and george look small tomorrow.
I bet on the Lakers to win and even I was like “whoa” at some of those calls last half of the 4th lol
By the way, weird schedule quirk : We play the Lakers again this Saturday. We also have lost seven straight against them.
