They probably spent the whole time discussing if they were allowed to simply rule that a non-call and give the Lakers the ball as there was no actual contact on this play. I’m guessing there’s something in the rulebook preventing them from overturning this without a coach’s challenge, but they were probably looking at it on the replay like “whoops, we screwed this one up.”
