I’ve said this for a long time on this sub and gotten flamed for it, but now it’s too evident to ignore.

Packers lost their last chance at a Superbowl, barely missing the playoffs without Davante when he would’ve been more helpful than ever (not like we would’ve won it all, but it would’ve been nice to give the most talented QB of all time one more legit shot with us).

Raiders still suck with Davante, and they probably could’ve used those picks to help trade up for an actual franchise QB.

As for Davante, we all see how unhappy he is in LV. Decent chance he’s regretting the trade request now.

It’s worth mentioning that the Raiders pick ended up being Quay, who has been amazing for us. However, maybe we draft him at 29 instead and trade Davante the same time we trade Rodgers and get more value. So it’s not a totally bad trade for GB by any means.

It’s a shame both parties couldn’t put egos aside and hammer out a deal to keep him in GB. I was far more concerned with losing Adams than I would have been with losing Rodgers at the time. Going to Vegas might end up costing him a spot in Canton. Wish he was here to be the Sterling Sharpe type of player that Love needs.
