I just came from the game. I’m happy we won the game, but i’m just being realistic about the flaws on our team that will hurt us if we go deep into the playoffs. The secondary is still our biggest flaw. We not going to keep getting lucky with the blown coverages.

This was another game where the game would of been different if we played a decent QB. Jimmy G was horrible tonight. He missed DA for 2 touchdowns and was holding the ball too long. Not saying we would lost, but the game would’ve been a lot closer. Against the Ravens and The Seahawks which is playoff caliber teams. you saw how bad our secondary played when against competent QBs.

This teams has to get help in the secondary at the deadline if we are serious about winning our first playoff game in 30 years. In all our wins except the Chiefs we played against mediocre QBs. We got off lucky against the Bucs with Baker missing the big plays. Then Lamar followed the next week destroying us. This week Jimmy G bailed us out. Next game against Herbert if we don’t clean up the blown coverages. Its gonna be ugly again. We can’t keep getting away with blowing coverages without paying for it.

Herbert is the last Top QB on our schedule. We have a easy ride to the #1 seed because of our soft schedule . But depending on who we matchup with. Eagles is the only team I feel that can beat us. This team is capable of making a Super Bowl run, We arrived a year early , but the only thing that will cut our season short is the secondary.
