News, articles, posts: “Miposhka is a genius support”. “Collapse MVP”, “Larl finally made it”, “Yatoro is the best carry in the world”. However, there seems to be a lack of appreciation for TS.Mira’s play. Is this some kind of pos4 curse (playing in the shadow of your team)?

Support are reason you win your game not your cores. Check every game of dota most of them are won by good supporters

I dunno it seams heroes with “Saves” are not that impactful nowadays unlike back then especially with Earth Spirit plays.

Mira’s Shadow Demon saves are on point and also his Grimstroke’s Ink Swell dispels.

Because in this meta supports do a million things that go unnocited but are quite complicated details.

Hard to shine unless you’re playing enchantress and you’re an impetus machine gun.

not only Mira, the casters always crediting everything to the cores like supports do not exist even tho support are the real carries and they set up everything for the cores to shine

edit 1: they credit Miposhka when he is actually doing the “core” thing by dealing damage and getting kills
they didn’t credit for Miposhka’s good support play

Got it. Like @odaal said, the best example is Miposhka’s Enchantress .

Because the role of supports within a team is not just too hard for casual viewers to see, it’s also often not even shown on the broadcast. One of the most important things for a support player to be doing in game is to simply be intaking information on the map for the team, and filtering what information is relevant to their team. Obviously, even pro core players have 10x the awareness of information available to them as even immortal support players, but there is a certain limit to their ability to intake information due to higher moment to moment micro requirements compared to support players. Intaking, processing, and communicating information is one of the main roles of a support player in a team.

cause he wasnt playing flashy heroes like rubick or shaker . naturally there will be less spotlight for him. unless you dive deep into replays and watch pov and learn about it.
