Last year this subreddit was begging for Malachi Flynn to be the starting point guard (lol), we sign Dennis Schroeder, and now 1 week into the season people are doing trade proposals for both of them… and it’s not even for anything that would tip the scales… if you think Immanuel quickley is going to flip things on it’s head I have to assume all you do is look at stats.

Nobody in this subreddit seems to be okay with just being a fan anymore. Everyone needs to be Stephen a smith with a terrible hot take every day. There hasn’t been a single funny meme posted in weeks, but there’s 70 josh lewenberg tweets with hundreds of comments all yelling at each other.

Does anyone here even like the current raptors as they are? Will nobody be satisfied if we aren’t eastern conference contenders every single year? Was everyone under the impression a rebuild would only take 2 years?

This fanbase doesn’t even deserve a successful team right now with how much people actively shit on everyone involved with the franchise. In 2018 the average nba fan looked at raptors fans as some of the best and most respectful in the league, now all anyone views us as is annoying, loud and dumb. And 90% of that comes from here.

Nobody does this shit in public either, you talk to people irl and nobody ever wanted to get rid of Fred, nobody actually thinks darko is a better coach than nick and nobody is talking about what bench players we need to trade for.

It’s honestly sorta funny to me that fans think the NBA is 2k and the trades they want are just available at all times and the Raptors don’t need to worry about the other side accepting. Yes, there are definitely blunders that the front office have made looking back but I love how most fans just complain about past trades / lack of trades rather than propose actual ideas on how to improve the team.
