So I started on Britney Spears’s new book, The Woman In Me, and I’m about one-third of the way in and it greatly exceeded my expectations.

Without any explicit spoilers, a lot of the details in her story reminded me heavily of Sarah Lynn’s story.

Of course I know that the character of Sarah Lynn herself is heavily influenced by child stars that grew up to become sexualized pop stars and also abused by the family around her such as Britney or Lindsey - however, now hearing the story from a more personal angle from Britney’s point of view, in her voice, just makes the staggering similarities between her story and Sarah Lynn’s that much more clearer.
