Kat is a very unique special offensive talent but he needs a roster that is built around him to give u all star value. And we clearly aren’t doing that with Rudy at center. We failed building a roster that fits him and is a contender. 2021 was the closest thing he got and that team was a play in team. We are tryna shove a puzzle into place that obviously isn’t fitting. Kat and ant are both horrible descion makers with the ball. And now we see that kat dosent fit the roster and he has similar flaws to ur star player who you are trying to build around. I think the bigger question for kat is if building a team around him will ever be more then a play in team and if he is best suited in a bench fire power scoring option like a Christian wood on steroids for a contender. This team won’t randomly click it will continue to be similar to what we saw last year. A good team that will be in the play in and give any team a tough first round exit with the defense. And I don’t think our defense wins us a series. Because it’s pretty basic but elite, and not very versatile with the two bigs. And our transition defense will always be bad because of our lack of guys who can read offenses. The league has so much parity that certain fans might overreact to a season or a stretch and want to rebuild. But I just don’t really see a venue where the team gets better unless through a trade, we don’t really have assets. And we are most likely gonna lose Kyle Anderson who probably is the only person who is really connecting the offense. I could be totally wrong and finch could just change something up and covers our flaws as best as possible with an offensive or defensive scheme. It just feels like we all know where this is going, even after only 30 games
I feel like ant has gotten enough reps by now to tell us that he isn’t one of those heliocentric gaurds. luka/trae type gaurds.
Nah ant has had periods where he’s put up numbers like them. Just needs to be given that responsibility all the time.
