I’m a Dolphins fan living in Illinois. I’ll be in Miami for the 12/11 MNF game against the Titans. First time seeing the Dolphins at home and I’ll be attending the game by myself.

Would it be smarter for me to purchase a ticket to the game today or wait closer to game day or even day of game? What will get me the best deal for a single ticket? What would you recommend? Really looking forward to this trip and I want a good seat.

If I was traveling from out of town, I’d probably just secure it for the peace of mind. Even if they go down $50, it was probably worth it. I monitored this last game against the Patriots and bought tickets first thing game day morning for about $125 (upper sideline, row four.) I figured they would probably get cheaper closer to kick off, but they never really did; a few here and there, but nothing great. Either way, I knew I wanted a lower row if I was going to be in the 300s, so I jumped on it. The nice thing about MNF, is not worrying about the sun. There are a ton of lower seats I won’t even consider because you absolutely bake in the sun. If you want to risk it, there will always be tickets available up until game time, but I’d probably pull the trigger in your case. Ah, just saw you’re attending by yourself. In that case, I may risk it. Single seats do pop up cheap pretty often last minute. Tough call. Enjoy!

Buy early for better seats, buy later for cheaper seats
