It took a much better Boston Celtics team 39 games to adjust to Ime Udoka’s new system of ball movement. They were 18-21 before they started to click and finish the 21/22 season 51-31. Expecting the Raptors to adjust to a complete offensive and defensive system overhaul in just 4 games is unrealistic.
It’s a process and that process has only begun. We’ll have a better idea in January where we’re at. Give time for the coaches to do their work, and the players to find chemistry under this new system. In the meantime, expect sloppy passes, high turnover rates, out of sync plays, bad shooting due to those things, etc.
The roster is not stellar either, but it’s waaaay too early to judge what they’re capable of under Darko. Development takes time.
Fine, but that Boston comparison makes no sense. They had a young core with two elite wings (Tatum and Brown) that already went to the Eastern Conference Finals.

It would be like if we made the Eastern conference finals last year, with Scottie and another youn guy at Scottie’s level. If that was the case I don’t think anybody here would complain too much. Instead we’ve been quite bad for a while now, and we don’t have young talent apart from Scottie, and our front office seems afraid to do anything.
