    I don’t like this move. It ties us to a 4-3 guy. Which suggests eberflush will be back next year when he has no right to be. Also I don’t like that we will likely be trading Jaylon Johnson and not extending the younger guy at almost an equally important position. I’ve never been a fan of trading high draft assets for the right to pay someone. It’s a bad way to manage your assets and cap.

    Last year, he uses a 2nd rounder to fix a receiver position in which he drafted VJJ the prior draft. This year, it is a second rounder foa position Poles completely neglected in this year’s draft. Not a great strategy.

    There is a middle ground between hoarding picks and cap space and burning high draft picks and cap space on slightly above average players.

    But it isnt one or the other. Stop making it like that is the only reasonable way of looking at it. Literally gaslighting. The problem is how he does what he does. He is not doing it the best way. Not when a younger guy with more sacks on the same fucking team just went a whole round later to a proven good team.
