I’m going to start by saying I don’t watch much college football nor even put much stock into how college football translates to the nfl, but I keep seeing people on twitter saying that the giants should trade up in the draft and give up whatever it takes to get him.

I don’t understand how he’s supposed to have success on our team given the current state of our roster and if we have to trade up and give up future 1s and 2s how is the team going to get better.

I’m hoping someone will explain to me why he’s different and won’t turn into Danny 2.0 after 2 seasons of being behind this offensive line and not having weapons on offense

I’ll do my best not to be like BT and Sal and hear out anyone who’s got a valid opinion lmao

I definitely get the idea behind trading to get him, but I will argue that the tyreek hill point by saying the dolphins knew exactly the type of player they were getting because he was a proven player in the league and not a rookie, and I’m under the impression that the team will be the same because while I understand that adding key players in the draft can happen in the latter rounds it’s predominantly a top two round occurrence, I believe our drafts will be better under schoen than they were with gettleman, only time will tell, unless giants ownership has some massive changes I fear that the team around him will have to be built from the draft, in recent years since the gettleman $200million year we haven’t been big players in FA and the trade deadline is normally pretty lack luster, I want to say I’m not opposed to trading to get him but I just have some obvious concerns about it.
