About a year ago, my 2014 Buick regal awd developed a vibration and pulsing noise which got more frequent the faster I drive. Took it into a shop and had the front wheel hubs, and rotors and pads done on all 4 wheels.
The noise vibration was less, but still persisted, so I took it to pepboys and had them do an alignment. Again, there was a slight improvement, but the noise and vibration was still there.
About 2 months ago, I brought it back to the shop that did the wheel hubs and rotors and they couldn’t find the issue, so I authorized them to replace the rear wheel hubs as well… the noise and vibration didn’t go away…
About 1.5 weeks ago, I brought it back to pepboys and had them put on all new tires, alignment, and wheel balancing.
The noise and vibration is much less than before, but it is still noticeably present, especially when I get up to 50 - 75 mph.
I’m really frustrated with this as I’ve spent a lot of money on this and the problem is still not fixed. I may as well be back to square one, as the vibration noise started out just like this and got much worse over time. I’m worried the root of the problem is still not resolved and I may end up damaging my new tires and hubs from this persistent vibration.
I made an appointment with the dealership because I’m just so done with bringing it to these smaller shops and spending a ton of money only for the issue to not be fixed. I should have just done this from the beginning and maybe I could have avoided all this headache.
How would you guys handle this situation?
