Tudor hasn’t really done anything for me in the past. I know the BB’’s are all the rage on here, and I respect that they’re well made and pretty sexy, but never really put a jingle in my dingle. At first glance, the 39mm black dial Tudor Glamor Day Date resonated with me in a way that I haven’t felt with many watches. I love the arched day, the “self winding rotor” text, the simple yet strong design, and the linear indices (more so than the diamond ones). After diving deep into the models, I’ve noticed happily that the Glamor are priced pretty reasonably when compared to the BB’s and most other watches in Tudor’s catalog. I just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with them, and what the main reason is behind the price difference. Are there versions or years of the Glamour Day Date that are better than others? Do they retain value pretty well? Thanks so much h for your time!
