I started a restaurant cafe close to 6 months ago, business has been going downhill since there are many new competitions in the same area. 2 out of 5 months were breakeven/positive, the rest all losses. I’m running out of money, though I don’t want to quit, I really need to feed my family with my second child incoming.

Those months I didn’t pay myself. I don’t want to stop the business just yet, until I do my absolute best to turn the tides. One of the reasons is we already spent our entire savings in it.

It is still possible to turn it around, as people nearby probably drawn to the hype of new restaurants, then the hype will soon die down.

I actually plan to get a day job while continuing the business as side hustle. Hope you could offer me some perspectives.
