Pretty much the title. I’ve seen plenty of people using proxmox and truenas but I don’t really see many homelab users running Ubuntu server or something similar? Do many people actually use it to run docker or any containers on their machines? Just curious.
I use an Ubuntu server running on a 2013 office PC with an i5-3470. Mainly used as a media server, seed box, file server, and Minecraft server all running in docker containers.
Honestly had no particular reason for using Ubuntu other than it being the only Linux distro I’ve used before. Didn’t even know about TrueNAS or Proxmox when I started.
